The Problem
I have created this page without the png transparency fix to demonstarte the problems faced when using png transparency on older browsers that do not fully support 24bit png transparency.
This page appears as desired on modern browsers but when viewed in internet explorer 6 or below the png images get an unsightly grey box where they should be transparent as illustrated in the image below.
If you don not have an old browser (ie6 and older) to view this page then I would recommend ie tester for testing internet explorer compatibility. To see the problem on this page, download and install ie tester and view this page in an ie6 tab.
